"We Are Family '83" Is Coming
Northern Ohio Coalition, Inc, 's annual "WE ARE FAMILY" picnic will be Sunday, September 11th, 1983. Again this year the picnic will be held at Wildwood Lake Park, Columbia Station on Rt. 252 in Lorain County, just 20 miles south of downtown Cleveland.
Top raffle prizes are; A 64K Home Computer, A MoPed, A Video Recorder, A 10 Speed Bike, plus many more prizes donated by local businesses. Tickets for the picnic are $10.00 in advance or $10.00 at the gate, however it is hoped that many of us will buy our tickets in advance at selected northern Ohio businesses or by mail-order through P.0. Box 663, Lakewood, Ohio 44107. (this is the mailing address of the Northern Ohio Coalition) Advance purchase of tickets will help the Coalition plan for the best picnic ever. Profit from the past picnics have been used in setting up rewards, of which helped the police and courts in the arrest, conviction, and death sentence of David Mapes for the murder of John Allen. NOCI
also donated $10,000.00 to AIDS research. There are also several reward offers outstanding. We need to get out and support the Northern Ohio Coalition in their efforts and contributions. The coalition is totally non-profit and all of the members donate their time and money to make this organiztion work.
GEMINI PARTY
The Gemini Birthday Party at the TOMAHAWK BAR on June 12th was very special because in addition to all the guests it was Gene's, the bartender, birthday as well. As usual all the party-goers brought their favorite covered dish and partied. the day and night away. Waunetta supplied drink specials for all those who were born under the sign. of Gemini.
The Cancer Birthday Party is Sunday July 10th so whip up your covered dish and be there!
